Our Story


Meet Lori!


Lori Huber is an avid fitness enthusiast with a strong passion for leading group exercise classes. She has been a part of the fitness industry for 21 years and counting. Lori obtained her Master of Science Degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences in 1993 from the University of South Alabama. Following the birth of her son in 1998, Lori decided to be a stay-at-home mom. She joined a local gym and became a certified fitness instructor. What started out as a hobby soon became her passion and calling.


Throughout her fitness career, Lori has instructed at various gyms and has served as group exercise director for two fitness centers. She’s had the privilege of working along side many amazing instructors over the years. Some of Mobile’s best in the industry have landed at B. Loved Fitness & Gifts! Currently, she is an adjunct professor for the University of South Alabama’s Health and Kinesiology Department and a fitness instructor for SouthFit’s Campus Recreation Center.


Lori enjoys teaching a variety of fitness classes which include step aerobics, circuit training, HIIT, Barre Above, Yoga, Tabata, Cardio Kickboxing, and more. She is AFAA certified for group exercise training, and she holds fitness certificates for Barre Above, Yoga Fit 1 & 2, Yin Yoga, Spinning, Schwinn, Insanity, TRX, and FitTour personal training. In addition, Lori and the B. Loved staff have designed and created six different class formats that are set to launch this summer and fall with pending trademarks. Lori and the B. Staff are excited to introduce and share these workouts with you!


In Lori’s spare time, she enjoys the simple things in life such as her quiet time and a good cup of coffee. She has a strong faith in God and cherishes time spent with her family and their two dogs.

Meet Sheila!

Sheila Stewart is a retired educator who loves physical fitness, and is a twenty-eight year veteran in the fitness industry.  Sheila earned a Master of Education in Early Childhood and a Master of Education in Special Education from Alabama State University. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, and a faithful member of The Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.


As an educator she worked in several systems, Lowndes County Public School System, Department of Defense (DOD) Germany, and The Mobile County Public School System. She often states that working with children was a wonderful experience and cherished the years she had in the classroom.


Moving to Germany with her husband and constantly going to the gym to workout peeked her interest in becoming a certified fitness instructor.  She worked hard and constant to perfect her style of teaching. She is certified with AFAA (Athletics and Fitness Association of America) and Mad Dogg Athletics, Inc.


Sheila enjoys teaching Step Aerobics, Hi-Lo, Spinning and Tone classes.  She has also taught Cardio Kickboxing, Cardio Ball, and Zumba. Her goal is to become a certified Barr instructor.


She enjoys fishing, reading, swimming, riding with her husband on the back of his Harley, and a good workout!


Get to know Natasha!


Natasha Rogers have been teaching group fitness for 23 years, yoga and Pilates for 15 years and personal training for the past 16 years. I teach almost all formats including weight lifting, kickboxing, boot camp, circuit and interval training, step, ball and bosu classes, aqua and cycle. I am comfortable with people of every fitness level and age group and I tailor each class to meet the needs of my participant’s whether they are beginners or advanced athletes.

I am experienced with rehab and special needs and arthritis issues. I love to teach. I enjoy meeting people and working with them to better their fitness and health. I have the flexibility, resourcefulness and experience to be able to adapt to all teaching environments. I am married and have one child. My husband and I enjoy racing mountain bikes, adventure and obstacle races, challenging hikes, scuba diving, snorkeling and anything outside.

Meet Dana!

Dana Schaub MS RD LD RYT is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and yoga/fitness instructor. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Mobile and her Master of Science in Nutrition and Food Systems from the University of Southern Mississippi.

A lifelong dancer and lover of movement, Dana has many years of experience as a performer, choreographer, and dance teacher. In more recent years, her love for dance spilled over into fitness. She completed her RYT 200-hour training through “Holy Yoga” and is also a certified Zumba Instructor. (HOPING TO ADD “BARRE” TO THIS LIST SOON :) She has experience teaching yoga, Zumba, and chair/senior yoga in various locations along the Gulf Coast.


As part of her private practice, Whole Self Care, she also helps others on their journey of recovery from disordered eating/exercise behaviors. Dana is passionate about helping others truly care for themselves from the inside out, taking a holistic approach to nutrition, fitness, and health. She loves helping others find the joy in movement and make it a rewarding experience!


Dana’s passions all center around her faith in Christ, and she is grateful to God for the opportunities He provides to share her love for fitness, nutrition, and health. She is excited to join the team at B.Loved!

Get to know Evangelia!


Evangelia has always loved anything athletic and took every class available her first year of college. She was approached by a fitness instructor who encouraged her to get certified and that’s when she began teaching. Over the past 13 years, Evangelia has taught at numerous gyms as a fitness instructor and also personal trainer.

She loves teaching boot camps, strength and  cardio classes.

Evangelia has a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy and continues to practice in several settings. In 2019, she decided to open Korissia Boutique  which is women’s clothing company online. Check out her website at

Meet Sharon!

Sharon Cummins is very passionate about an active life style, focusing on retrieving what we need to stay strong and independent. Anyone can get back what they’ve lost!

After many years as a hairstylist and owning her own salon, she joined a gym to relieve stress and was totally hooked. It was a little late in life but with some coaxing from her instructors to get a certification she went for it!!!!

She has been leading spin, water and fitness classes for close to 20 years, as well as personal training. Her certifications are in group fitness, personal training, Zumba and spin.

She lives by this “IF GOD BRINGS YOU TO IT HE WILL SEE YOU THROUGH IT” and she knows that first hand.


Get to know Kristine!


Kristine Alford’s group fitness journey began in 2013 when she started teaching yoga at the University of South Alabama Student Recreation Center. She instantly fell in love with leading fitness classes, and has since obtained an AFAA group fitness certification, ACE personal trainer certification, and additional certifications in Barre, Step, Indoor Cycling, CIZE, Insanity, and BOSU.

Kristine is passionate about helping and inspiring others along their fitness and wellness journeys, and has taught classes at the YMCA, Simply Life Learning Center, and Sway Yoga. She also continues teaching at the University of South Alabama, where she is obtaining her Master’s degree in Marine Conservation and Resource Management.

Get to know Jewel!

Jewel Thompson-Cousins joined the U.S. State Army in 1993 and got out 2003. I have 2 sons Michael, Jr. 18 & Marc-Anthony 12. In January 2008, I started working for Springhill Athletic Club, during that time I worked toward my Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management (2014) and Master of Science in Management (2016).


October 2017, I began working at Alabama State Port Authority in the Human Resources Office. 2019 I got my Adjuster License and started working for Administrative Strategies and Healthy Paws Pet Insurance processing pet health claims. I still process claims but now in May 2021, I have the pleasure to help my dear friend in any way I can at B. Loved Fitness & Gifts...John 14:21.
